I can relate. happened to me once. (or was it 5 times. whatever.) A very
erie feeling isnt it. 
Theres a little bushing that fits into the pedal which holds the throttle
cable. Doesnt cost much but it is a sort of pain to install. One of those
awkward positions to get into to install the thing but once you do
install it, you wont think about it again. (Until somebody posts a 
message like this one. Brings all those bad memories back in a flurry.
