Where's My Pedal?

    I had a very interesting experience while cruising down the highway 
at about 75mph.  I let off the gas to slow down, and when I tried to get 
back on it, there was no pedal.   I felt around for it, but it was gone.  
I slowed to the side of the highway to remedy my problem.
It seems the throttle cable bushing in the pedal was very worn and 
allowed the cable end to pop out.  I was able to get it back together 
and made it home OK.  
    I've been checking and replacing as many worn out parts as possible 
since I purchased my car,  but I must have slipped past my pedal 
assembly.  It might be something that other new Rocco owners might want 
to check out before they find that they're missing a pedal on a busy 
highway.  It should be a very cheap fix.
