sway bar question

[scirocco.gtx@juno.com (Mark A Peele)]

The front stock swaybar is the same as the 8V front  (16 or 16.5mm)

but the 16V rear is much bigger (24mm) than the 8V rear.

I have the 16V rear sway bar on my '82.

is the stock rear swaybar on my '83 the same
size as the stocker on a 16v?
