Re: 13.8 Volts?/temp variations



Sounds like the voltage regulator has gone out.  You can try 
replacing that first as it's cheaper than an alternator.  If the com 
on the alternator is chewed up though, you should replace the 
alternator.  The brushes on the regulator should be no less than 
about 8mm.
