Yes the late 84's (> 7/84) could have the larger wing. The 8/84's 
should have the larger wing since all 8/any year is really the next 
year ie..85.  Check out the 10th digit of your vin if it's a F then 
you've got a 85.

example 81=B, 82=C, 83=D, 84=E, 85=F, 86=G, 87=H, 88=J, 89=K & so 
on........
