Hello all! Reading some of these related posts made me pull some
recently acquired-just-for-the-hell-of-it info. I gots from the local VW
dealer:

Makes me think they pull the dies out to recast the damn pieces!
But ironically, theres probably an enormous warehaus somewhere
in the Rheinland full of all the parts and pieces we could dream of;
theyre just a zillion dollars.
