RE: H4 Conversion - Was:GE Halogen High Output Low Beams RULE
Hi Chad -
I recently put a set of Hella H4s on my 82. (Hella is of course, the brand
name, and H4 is the style of light. (I think)) If I recall correctly, they
were around C$100.00, but I get a 30% discount at the parts store that I
shop at. The light that they throw is fabulous, even just the 55/60W that I
have. Especially handy here in the great white north, with shorter days,
longer nights...
The next step will be to convert the inner high beams to H1s (apparently
the same price, I don't get to use high beams much, so I didn't bother
getting them yet?) hook up some relays, and then upgrade the bulbs. All in
good time, I suppose.
Greg.

re H1's & H4's
What do I ask for when I go to the store and get some? Are we talking about
Hellas? How much do they run for (approx) in CDN funny munny? I've been a
little peterbed at the whole stock lighting situ for a while now, and I'm
gonna
do something about it!
Shiny happy headlights comin' my way !!(clear signals too!)
