Why is the Scirocco ignored so much?
It wasn't that long ago that I was a kid, er, child; I'm 28 now, but
still a kid (with a job to support a bad VW habit).
ANYWAY
I went to a hobby store recently to see if I could find a model of my
beloved Scirocco (I have had it since I was 17...do the math :) To my
dismay, I found out that there probably never was a Scirocco Mk2
reproduced in scale...in Radio Controlled form, or even plastic model
kits (I did manage to find a Mk1 Scirocco model, though).
SO
Can anyone explain why such an elegantly styled and simple car is so
ignored? I am the only one of my VW owning friends to have a Scirocco
(5 Golfs, 2 Jettas, and me).
Just a little frustrated; I guess I just like to be the underdog
(probably the same reason I still have my Amiga computer ;)
I am just glad I found this mailing list...I was beginning to think I
was alone in this A2, A3, AX... world :)
Enough already. I'm done whining now.

on...)
PS. Anyone interested in having a radio controlled Scirocco custom
made? ;)
