Leaking Konis?

I bought some Koni Yellows about 8 months ago and when I was looking
in that general area today, it seems like the shock is leaking.
I'm thinking this is not a good thing.  Is it normal for a shock
to leak a bit or this oil stuff supposed to be there?  The passenger
side shows no signs of leaks.
