Shifter Levers on Mk 1, Rocco

I am looking for a stock VW shift lever that is longer (and prefer more 
rearward slope) than the mk1 Scirocco shifter. I'm sure a Rabbit / mk1 
Golf shifter would fit, but is the lever longer?

Does anyone sell a rear sloping extention for the lever? May try 
fabricating an extension, but I would prefer a 1 piece lever.
