Guages?

Well, thanks for all the excellent responses on my guage poll!

However, everyone seemed to justify the use of each guage, so it looks as if
I'll be mounting a pegboard on my dash for 10 more guages.  Let's
see...wiring loom, 2 ga. wire, hangers, ......oh yeah. This car is gonna
look REAL sweet.  ;-)

Anyone have any suggestions for more guage locations on a Scirocco 2,
besides the 3-ga. panel?  Perhaps in the corners of the dash/speedometer area?  

perusing thru my friends' american car catalog, as I like to call it, there
are very nice looking little bracket that mount onto your A-pillar (drivers
side arm adj. to windshield) but of course, they are made for mustangs,
trucks, and camaro's.  Any chance I might be able to fabricate something
that doesn't look shitty?
