late 84 1/2 went donut spare.  Also the 84 Wolfsburg had the 85! gti dash+
computer package, not the 84 gti computer.  I had/have (roomate) one.
Its was a bitch to get parts, now I get 85 rocco parts, and 85 gti parts :)
