Just from experience I got my carpet kit from West Coast Metric.  The quality
is 
so-so.  It came in God nows how many pieces (get a one piece if at all
possible).  even after glueing down all the pieces just don't stay put.  I
made my own for my 84 GTI and I was much HAPPIER!!!!!!!
