My own experience with break-ins, actually the last owner's - the
thief was a 'nice guy', he broke the passenger side 'vent wing'
and not the movable glass. I know this because the car had a 
Radio Schlock stereo and American glass in the door, as well as a pound of
broken glass under the seat...
