What is the rating of the battery? If its a sears sucker that is still under
warranty, have them check it. It might have a bad cell or a cell going bad.

suggestions?
Well, did you at least check it? Is there a bunch of white powdery crust on
the terminals? If so, then it needs cleaning. Also go buy a little $1
terminal cleaning kit. its a silver colored brush that has both the terminal
brushes and the batteryu terminal cleaner. its well worth the buck. Another
way some people clean batteries is to pour some soda on each terminal. Thats
kinda too much shade tree stuff to me. Im not one who wants to clean the
terminals every couple weeks or so. Ive not touched my terminals since I put
my first rebuild motor in the car. That was a couple years ago..... hmm. I
did a hell-of-a job!

Evaporation, hard cornering, battery heat are the main reasons.

Im not one for Kragen products, but I have their "Heatbeater" battery in my
car. It doubles as a "super cold" battery too. its secret is that it has
little foam beads in the battery and it helps keep it from extreme heat and
cold. I've had no problems with it so far and its been a couple years.
Remember too that I live in a climate most of you only dream about (Ya, im
bragging. What of it.) and only see maybe 2-3 weeks out of the year. So I
dont have the huge fluxuation in temperature change like lots of you do. :)-
Nobody likes to spend alot of cash on car parts. Im one of them. There are
some things you just got to pay the money and get the best. Batteries are
one of them. I think I paid $65.00 for my battery, not too expensive
compared to some of the things I have spent bank of buying for my baby. Then
again, I use it everyday!
