A) its a wicked pain to change to manual, just trade it. Quite a bit is
actually
involved unfortunately.  Once all the pieces are assembled, its 
straitforward though. but the pedals are the annoying part.   Ask over
on watercooled newsgroup.

B) this *IS* a scirocco list... So like.. WTF!?!  jettas are elsewhere
(well my current daily is a 89 gli wolfs full recaro (YOW!) etc...)
so like.. More Scirocco discussion, less jetta!
