No problem on my car. I have heard some discussion concerning head gasket 
problems on the very early VR6's.

The 95 has a softer suspension than the 96, but both year models could 
use some suspension  improvements. Concerning buying a use GTi/VR6, there 
was one in the paper within the last month, 1995 17,000 miles , leather 
and CD changer = $14,000.
