Scirocco 16V seats

The seats are the same in size it is the metal attaching system under the
seats. The Jetta seats will fit in the runners on the car chassie but they
will sit up higher due to the taller seat frame. I have heard that you can
switch out the scirocco seat frame onto a jeta/golf seat but my guess is
that it requires cutting and welding, but not sure of the process. You can
not just switch out a driver side for a passanger side because the center
guide is opposite/reversed. Again you could switch out the seat frame from
a passanger side to a driver side with modifications. I do not know if you
can lower the scirocco seats any more than stock since they almost touch the
floor in the rear when you lower the rear adjustment. A different style
seat might get you closer to the floor. I think the aftermarket seat in
Chris's Callaway sits very low.
