No TDIs in VWs current line up?

My understanding is that it's an emissions issue. But they're supposed to be back next year.

On a similar topic, maybe it's just me, but I couldn't find any information at all about what engines are available in what cars on the VW website. For the R32 they mention how much HP and for the 2.5 5 cylinder they mention its torque rating, but other than that there's nothing, almost as if VW is ashamed of their engines.
Sad.
