weekend plans

I am tired of looking at my scirocco in the garage (finally have a garage
though!)  I got the tranny mostly back on last night so I will be finishing
that this weekend.  I have new A arms with installed balljoints and bushings
to replace my old A-arms that have somewhat out of round poly bushings.  I
was just wondering if I need to get the car re-aligned if I swap A-arms.  I
am inclined to believe that the toe might be different - I guess I'll find
out when I'm done.  I just got an alignment a few months ago so I'd rather
not do it again.

I have new axles to put on and the transmission will get some fresh fluid
(leaning towards mobil 1 synth gear oil) and some new linkage pieces.  I
hope the 80% shim kit and the 020 hold up!  I just want to drive the thing.
It's not like I got the new suspension just to look at it.

Future plans:  fix the steering situation.  The feel is good, but there are
some boot tears and a fair amount of leaking
