What if I told you I saw a 77 Scirocco in VERY GOOD shape in Ann Arbor, MI?

So yeah....... I saw a 77 in very good shape yesterday. The fellow has had it tucked away in a very nice garage. Working on it  on and off for 25 years. The car sits in this garage in the company of appears to be a 68 Boss Mustang and a 70's Porsche Carrera (IIRC).
   
  The guy is out of work and has to bail on the rocco. it is not running at this time. There is a fuel air issue going on. It has the original 1.6 in it (LOW milage), but hey it is not cranking, but EVERYTHING looks clean.
   
  He even bought a new FD...... WHo buys a new FD? TT exhaust all the way back stock stance with new Boge suspenssion. The interior is MINT and the dash has 1 crack. Leather sits with a checkerd custom insert... (actually very nice) I will need a paint job to make it look its best.
   
  Anyhow I will find out more about the running situation as it comes to me. I know he wants to start at near $3K, Certainly work $2.5k For all the NOS stuff he has going with it.
