Looking for a source of alternator parts
Most larger towns have a bearing supply. Odds are you can take the old
bearings in and get replacements.
Worth a try.
I used to buy alternator rebuilding kits for GM alternators containing new
bearings, brushes and voltage regulators. Like $12. Haven't seen them in
years, but an alternator is pretty generic, actually. Might be worth a call
to NAPA....
