Your approach to the problem is compelling except for one detail; if it
worked, why would you have cause to write your response in the first place?


You are also forgetting one thing; I am not the only one speaking on this
issue.  Your personal distaste for me has little to do with the subject at
hand.

Listen wanker, the solution is very simple.  If you find someone's
posts to the list objectionable, then simply do what I did with your
email address - add them to an email filter...  Problem solved...
