More or less "done" with the crazy paint-the-Scirocco-in-the-garage
project (needs touchups, and I will be reshooting the hood soon).
9 lives, here we go...
With prior owner, sometime before May 2001 as sold to me all the way
from Connecticut to Oregon:

Sandwiched, Jan. 2002... Crap!:

A few months later, after the rebuild and BC/CC paint all over. Looks
Great!:

...until... Summer 2006, that clearcoat is toast:

Bodyshop out of business, I guess I have to take matters into my own
hands, as there's no way I can justify spending 4 digits for new paint
on a wrecked car *again*. Sand that sucker down...

Moral of the story?
If you are inexperienced but have high expectation for paint nonetheless
(like me), DON'T EVER PAINT YOUR OWN CAR IN YOUR GARAGE. Why?
Cuz it sux.
