Dwell / Duty Cycle Q.
Forgot to add: Checking the duty cycle of the *Idle Stabilizer
Valve*... just to clarify.
New info: checked with hoses in place, the lowest value I could obtain
(via adjustment of the idle air bypass screw only, leaving the A/F screw
in the fuel dist. alone) was 66%, Bentley target is 26-30%. Red probe
on grey/white wire, black to ground. I actually turned the idle air
bypass screw quite a few turns, and quite easily with my bare hands...
must need a new o-ring there? It is currently at full clockwise.
Do I need to go back and readjust the the A/F screw on the fuel dist,
then check duty cycle again? Are these two adjustments interactive? And
if I adjust the ignition distributor timing, do I start over?
Thanks!
