Wow, driving up all the way from the Bay Area for a 150-mile cruise... 
that's the great thing about the Columbia River Gorge - it sells itself! 
  If listers are really going to be going out of their way, I'd better 
make an "event" out of it.  We could include some true Gorge activities 
like hiking or whitewater rafting (my dad has some connections), though 
I think Sciroccos really ought to be the focus.  Either way, there'd 
definitely be a 'Que at my folks' place.
