Ignition/spark question



Yes, for VW distributors the "trigger angle" should be 60-70?.
The "fixed angle" should be set to -10 for the advance to follow the VE table, or set to a specific number, like 6? since our flywheels have a timing mark there, if you want to set the timing.

Cathy and I may be on to a little setup issue that may be the problem. If not I'll take a picture of my distributor so she can check phasing of the trigger wheel to the rotor as you suggested in your original email.
