Mk1 Wheel fitment question

Hi All,
   
  I have my eyes on some 15x6 wheels going with 195/55/15 tires for the '80 Scirocco and wanted to know if anyone can speak to fitment/rubbing/turning radius/etc. issues. Currently the car is at factory height/suspension but my plan is to probably go with a H&R Cup kit and drop it down about 1.5 inches. Offset is ET38 (only 3mm greater than the stock wheel offset for the car).
