Looking at '91 Corrado G60
The G-Lader is the weakest link, esp. if it has not been rebuilt since new.
If it drives okay, keep your revs down until you can have that thing
professionally inspected and probably rebuilt. The charger can be rebuilt
as cheaply as $7-800, but to put a larger belt on it (to help with the
notorious grenade syndrome) and port it out, etc., you are looking at about
$1.1K.
The car is indeed heavier, but it is also quieter. I cannot afford to have
one purely because the trim pieces are either NLA or very high IMO.
You should also know, I am parting a red one with black interior if you end
up buying it... :D

Subject: Looking at '91 Corrado G60
I know this is a scirocco forum, but does anyone know anything about
Corrado's? I will be looking at one either tonight or on Saturday and
am looking for some pointers on what to look for.
It is a '91 Corrado G60 with 110K miles. It is a 5 speed, red in color
and has the following options: sunroof, cruise control, power-windows,
-seats, -steering, tilt wheel, CD player and tinted windows.
It was on eBay last week
