help needed for a buddy(87 16v)
Rich for most, but I had tuned the mixture to be lean when it didn't have
the O2 because I was having problems passing emissions.
So what I did back then was unhooked the O2 and leaned the mixture. Went
thru the emissions with flying colors. At the time with the O2 running it
was not passing.
Hmmmm maybe my O2 was going out then. 8-)
Either way I was driving home from Dayton to Cincy when it took a dump on me
and sputtered to a stop. Pulled the O2 wire and started back up and drove
it home.
8-)
May not be right, but I've always been a hard learner.
