Suspension talk

Ok, so my Scirocco is getting new bilstein sports (to go with H&R
sports) and a suspension refresh kit this weekend.
There is a lot of interest in how the car behaves with the new equipment.
I'd like some tips on how to evaluate, and what to look for.  The most
I can do now is to say 'I like how it drives, it's good in the
corners"
What sort of things should I be aware of?  'crashing over bumps'
'impact noise'   those sort of things.
I'd like to be able to intelligently evaluate and discuss the changes.
