Ditto. I did the same thing with mine, I had sanded it way down initially, then when I added the bodyfiller to fill in the trim channel, it was sanded some more. I also used some spot glaze on some scratches so the bumper was sanded quite a bit before I even applied the primer. I put three very heavy coats of prime down and sanded it smooth, then sprayed the whole thing flat black and I think it looks really wicked. Puts a bit of a modern look to it I think. Now I need a front.... :P

when my bumpers were painted the painter put the primer on extremely heavy
and sanded that. i had already started sanding off the texture part and gave
up. he was glad i gave up cause the texture gave the primer more to stick
to. somethign to think about. they looked great when they were done.
