OT: Vista users and wannabe's

Yeah, this is a used machine, and had pretty hard use from the PO. I'm not
sure I want to do that again (hubby bought me this one, so  had no say).
Not do I have any clue how to buy or replace the motherboard in this one
and Dell quoted me nearly $700 for that. Nope, sorry, not doing THAT. This
one came with no software at all except what was loaded, and it DID have
the wrong touchpad software, which I just recently realized, after I had
replaced the palmrest once. So I'll pony up the bucks, ans hopefully I'll
be able to wait till the new version of Windows gets its bugs ironed out.
And I will not be buying from the store that this one came from.
