WOT: Looking for a program

I need a decent desktop Calendar.  Preferably freeware.  I need blocks to
drop docs in (jobsheets and such)  But it has to be wallpaper/background
though.

Searched for free stuff and even tried to make google's calendar active
content on the desktop.  Doesn't work very well.

Suggestions would be appreciated.
