MkI coolant temp guage with 2 prong ABA sensor



Well, if you're getting comfortable with the Megalogviewer, VE analyzer, datalog routine then you don't need me to much anymore although I'll still take a look if you'd like to send me some files.

Something that I learned from looking at Brian Spinney's datalog. For some reason his AFR was oscillating very quickly over a fairly wide range. Perhaps as much as over a 1 AFR band. I suggested he turn off EGO correction. He did indicate to me that it smoothed out the AFR although I haven't seen a datalog.

Anyway, the reason I suggest to might want to look for this is that although Meglogviewer can take EGO correction into account, there is a lag factor, especially with quick oscillation, that will probably confuse it and lead to incorrect adjustments through the VE analyzer.

I'm sure at this point your VE map is getting pretty close, so turning off the EGO correction (set authority to 0%) won't effect your running much at all and may let VE analyzer do a better job, not to mention let you see what's going on better while viewing the datalog.

Oh, and I think I might have some little Advance map tweaks that you might want to try at the track once you're happy with your VE map. ;^)
You might want to send me your msq so I can tweak that if you like.
