Anybody see this? A/C delete pulley

The alternator pulley from pre-85 A1's with A/C have the same dimension.

Not impressed. Aluminum is soft, I'd like to see a steel sleeve at the
mounting. Also; I like the weight savings (albeit in a less than crucial
location), closer to 1/3 than 1/2, but what's the longevity?
