sticky throttle

Man, that's cheap!

I paid ~$35 from my FLAPS, but there was 3 cables in the bag... ;)

If your engine moves that much then get new motor mounts ASAP! :) Try
cleaning out the throttle body on the inside. Might be some goo sticking
the butterflies open or they could be off center and catching on the edges.
Make sure there is no wires or hoses catching up on the bottom spring on the
TB. It sticks down there a ways on the larger TBs. Clean and lubricate all
the moving parts on it and make sure the springs are working. Also check
the cable where it goes through the fire walI and make sure the plastic
grommet is seated correctly. The cable could be bad on the inside somewhere
and you would never see it so get a new one and a new pedal busing for $20
(http://germanautoparts.com/Volkswagen/Scirocco/Engine/42/4) or swap out
with a known good cable to see it that is the problem. Good luck.
