need help with a diagnosis
Hmmm interesting, 'cause it actually is the brake light and oil light that are coming on. I better install another oil pressure gauge to make sure that is not an issue.
Thanks again

I remember that in early Rabbits, the brake light came on also whith
the oil light. The resaon was that the brake light was more visible,
while the oil light was hidden behind your hand while you drive. One of
the lights was bound to be noticed ...

The last 2 times I have driven the rocc about 20 minutes into the drive the oil light and seatbelt(I think the other was seatbelt) light will come on. When this first happened I thought, shit I'm low on oil 'cause the engine burns about ? quart every 100 miles or so.

So I fired up the engine again and poured in some more fluid as the engine was running. It took about 8oz and I could tell the water was moving 'cause it was squirting out the hole at the tope of the radiator.
