Freeze 12 A/C recharge kit \ A/C question
Freeze-12 is 20%142b and 80%134a. There are several types of R-12
substitutes that contain several types of refrigerants such as 22, 124 ,
142, 134 ,Butane and various other things.If freeze 12 is 80% R134 why not
go ahead and convert to R134.I have seen several conversions that have
consisted of changing the fittings running a vacuum and putting in 134.They
seem to be working okay. You might have to play with the charge amounts
some.I think that you should only charge 80% of the R-12 charge amounts.
Good luck
ole blue
