Mk1 TVs: $295

Funny! Thanks Tonee. That's really very flattering to hear, considering we only showed up at Treffen that one time in '05, and didn't make it back last summer. Katie and I have poured our heart, soul, and pocketbook into that car since we picked up a bare shell from Daun in 2001. Especially after coming to grips with the fact that the car will probably never achieve its one true purpose in life (to win an SCCA National Championship) it really makes me feel good whenever we are reminded that we still managed to create something special and respected.

Unfortunately, I think I'm stuck with the thing! I don't think I could ever expect anyone of sane mind to pay me anywhere near what it cost me to build that car. And even then, I still don't know if I could part with it. :-) 

It will live on in one form or another. Just gotta decide what that might be...

  I talked with the CVO Motorsports Director today and he said that your scirocco is VERY well known around these parts, pretty much everyone at Treffen fears you and your wife, taking 1st and 2nd place.
