Take that extra battery you now have and wire it into your UPS.  I did this with 2 cheapo batteries from the local flaps (wired in
series, as the UPS required 24 volts), and it will run the server, 24" lcd, and a floor standing fluorescent lamp, for ~5 hours.
Comes in handy - the last time we had an extended outage, my living room was the only one on the block that was still lit :).
