Heater Fan/Squirrel Cage Fan Are The S2's The Same? i.e. I want to know if all Mk.2 Scirocco blower motors are the same.

This was for a car with AC? Right?
ETKA lists the same motor and harness from 82 on.

The motor itself is the same for all MK2 and MK 1. The connector is 
different for MK 1's though.
Easy enough to splice in the original connector.

The one you sent me pics of is a Mk.1/Rabbit blower motor.

The pics you sent came with this description:

I want to know if all Mk.2 Scirocco blower motors are the same, since I have
several Mk.2 heater boxes, with fans.

No the motors are different. Especially where they mount is different. The
Scirocco one has a band that clips around the end of the motor. The one I
sent you pictures mounts internal to the squirrel cage.

No they are different. I bought one cheap off ebay but it is completely
different from the one in my 1986 scirocco. Even the way it mount and the
way the motor is mounted.
