I've heard Bilstein's claim a bit differently.. that their shocks
retain 95% of "as new" performance at 100k miles.  I've got a set of
Bilstein HDs on my wife's 300CE with over 120k miles on them and they
are still in great shape, as are the ones on my Ranger pickup with
over 90k.  Since the Konis on my Rocc have only 40-45k on them, I
can't attest to their durability beyond that.  YMMV, obviously.
