Loud Buzzing from Fuel Pump Area

Maybe the foam has broken away and the pump is contacting some metal.

Only when engine is running... I get this fairly loud buzz from the
tank/external fuel pump area...

Does that mean it's dying?

When I turn the key on I get the priming buzz for two seconds or so,
that quits.  When I start the car a couple of seconds after I start it
I get a buzzing sound from back there.  Noticable over the radio and
my religeous (read that: holey) muffler.

Should I trust it to go to the airport tommorow?
