Track Day North!!

Well, I just got word that Julie and Jillian made it back into the US, and
Victor was the last to roll out with them inside. Thanks to all who made
the weekend great, and a big boo/hiss to the ditchers...you know who you
are ( Ben, Greg....). Montreal Marc (driving "the stroker") was the only
one to brave the rigours of the road course, and of course Denny and I were
in for quarter mile action. New to the gang was Chris Holland in his
beautiful 8V, and he ran his car on the quarter mile for the first time
too! Julie had to leave Victor back at my place, he was acting foolishly
rich, which was too bad, they'd have had fun on the track too, maybe next
year.
Chris, it was great to meet you. Daun? As always, a pleasure! Marc? You
just rock, and your gifts were too generous! (but my bug thanks you!!)
Rice of note includes my racing buddy Tyler and his red Civic, who stayed
all day today and helped get Julie and Victor rolling. Pretty good of a
Honda guy to help troubleshoot a Megasquirted MkI I'd say.
Here's hoping Marc and Julie arrived home safe and sound, Daun's home, and
Tyler's driving a Honda...so no worries there :P
Later, and one more thing....Josh Able and Miss Carrots ain't got nothin'
on Julie. She knows what I mean......:P
