help with Fuel hose going from filler neck to tank

Hey all,

I spoke with Gordy today about this and we decided that a radiator hose
should suffice for a quick fix. Does anyone know if this can be a permanent
fix or do I have to pony up the $45 at the dealer or potterman for the
"factory correct" part?

Anyone have any advice on this I'd appreciate it. I'm losing about a
tablespoon of fuel every few hours.
