Can you see the rusted windshield/seal area from under rain tray?

I know I have a water leak and one of the suspects is that the leak is
coming in from the windshield seal area.  I am speculating that it is
the classic rust under the seal that is allowing water in however; when
I look at the seam from the rain tray area it looks to be in perfect
order.  I am using a mirror and can see the seam quite clearly.  Also,
being a white car, any little bit of rust show up.

So, my question is:  Is it possible to see the rust damage from this
vantage point?  I really don't want to R&R the window if I don't have
to, especially risking breaking the glass or damaging the seal.
