installing strut inserts on my A2

Ok I have a nice set of Bilstein Strut inserts HD's from Potterman at Parts4vw(gratuitous promotion).... I've looked at my Bentleys but it's not really clear on replacing the inserts.

Can someone throw me a basic procedure and were I'm probably gonna run into the pain in the A$$ part and how they got it done and how long it takes.
