*hypothetical* CIS-E question

I've never heard of putting carbs on a 16v, but that does not mean it can't
be done. We live in a very large, wacky, and wild world and I'm sure it has
been done somewhere. After all there are convertible Sciroccos, twin engine
sciroccos, station-waggon sciroccos, pickup truck sciroccos, why not a
carbed 16v scirocco?

However, I simply must ask, WHY?!?!? It's not like FI is a bad thing!
Welcome to the 1950s, drive a car with carbs, have a martini and beat your
wife. Sounds great. ;-)

The caburetor idea sounds awesome!  Can I really do that with a 16v?
