Initial feeler: Liquidating my Scirocco stuff
Well, here's my take on it - you don't need the Scirocco to get around
in, that's what the M is for, right? I'd try to be patient and take a
few deep calming breaths. You'd hate to be that guy, who at 35 wishes
he had never sold his first project You've got the basis for a great
project, and from what i understand you have the patience to
(eventually) finish it out. Certainly, I think most of us on this
list can relate to being in a low spot, and feeling disillusioned with
a project (among other things) can weigh heavily on the mind. I'd
love to see you take a step back and hold on to the project, but put
it on the back burner until you're more prepared to tackle it.
As for the certain shiny something? Well, the men in my life (by
which I mean my brother and brother-in-law) did the inexpensive
engagement/promise ring thing, which was later replaced by a suitably
much nicer (and expensive) shiny round thing.
I don't know why we (the list) or I feel so invested in keeping other
people from giving up on their projects; but this list is so much like
family I guess we do a little vicarious living through each other!
Here's hoping you don't feel too overwhelmed by the list of things to do, !
Cheers,
GP
